All delivery dates on FreightSimple are estimated. We give you a transit time estimate, for example 4-10 business days, so you can plan ahead.

How transit estimates work

The transit estimate is AI-generated and based on real data from thousands of shipments for your specific origin and destination.

Our data shows that only 30% of shipments arrive within a carrier’s stated transit time, so we give you a more realistic transit window that is fact-based. This helps you better plan your shipments and communicate with your teams. Most shipments tend to deliver in the middle of that transit window. For example, a 4-10 day transit window would likely deliver in 7 business days, not including the day of pickup.

You can also filter your quotes view by fastest transit time when quoting. This lets you see the fastest predicted transit options at the top of the page.
