Change reference numbers and notes

You can update the pickup or delivery reference numbers and notes on your shipment yourself, even after booking. Here's how.

How to change reference numbers and notes

1. Open your shipment details

   Log in to your FreightSimple account, find the shipment you want to update, and scroll to the Reference Number & Notes section.

2. Click "Change"

   Select Change under the Reference Number & Notes section.

3. Update your information

   Edit the reference numbers or notes as needed, then click Done to save.

4. Get your confirmation

   You'll receive an email confirming the change once the carrier has processed it.

Good to know

• Timeframe. Changes can only be made within one week of your original pickup date.
