Change Broker Information

If you need to update your customs broker information after you've booked a shipment, you can easily make changes within the FreightSimple platform. Follow the steps below to modify your broker details:


How to Modify Broker Information

  1. Access Your Shipment Details:
    Log in to your FreightSimple account, click on the shipment in question, and scroll down to the Customs Broker section.
  2. Click “Change Broker”:
    Under the Customs Broker section, select the “Change Broker” option.
  3. Update Your Broker Information:
    Enter the updated broker details as needed. Once you've made your changes, click Done to save the updates.
  4. Confirmation Notification:
    After submitting your updated information, you will receive an email confirming the changes with the carrier.
We don’t allow self-clearing. All shipments must be processed through a licensed customs broker.

Important Notes

  • Timeframe for Changes: Broker modifications can only be made within one week of your original pickup date.
