Customs Broker Details

If you are shipping freight across the US-Canadian border, you must enter your customs broker details.

The carrier will use this information to handle pre-clearance. Pre-clearance is essential to keep your shipment moving on-time.

Incorrect information might lead to a delay in the carrier contacting the broker, a delay in clearance, and ultimately a delay in delivery.

If your freight is picked up close to a border, and you want it to move across the border that evening, we recommend you work with a broker who can clear freight in the evening.

A good customs broker is fundamental in ensuring a successful cross-border shipment. If you would like our suggestions for trusted customs brokers, reach out to our team via Live Chat or email support@freightsimple.com

We don’t allow self-clearing. All shipments must be processed through a licensed customs broker.
