Proof of Delivery

When the driver delivers your shipment, they will ask the receiver to sign for the shipment.

The Proof of Delivery will be marked with any special services that were used at delivery, and it is a chance for the receiver to make a note of any damage to the shipment. It is very important that if damage is seen or suspected, the receiver signs it as damaged. Not doing so may impact the outcome of a claim. Drivers will generally wait up to 30 minutes for you to inspect freight upon delivery.

The driver's copy of the Proof of Delivery is automatically made available in your FreightSimple dashboard - typically within a day of delivery.
