Proof of delivery

When the driver delivers your shipment, they will ask the receiver to sign for it.

What it records

The Proof of Delivery is marked with any special services that were used at delivery, and it is the receiver’s chance to note any damage to the shipment. Drivers will generally wait up to 30 minutes for you to inspect freight upon delivery.

• Sign as damaged if damage is seen or suspected. Not doing so may impact the outcome of a claim.

Finding your copy

The driver’s copy of the Proof of Delivery is automatically made available in your FreightSimple dashboard, typically within a day of delivery.
