It is crucial in avoiding delays that you have the name, phone number, and email of a person who will be on the ground at each of the pickup and delivery locations.
Both the carrier and FreightSimple may reach out to the pickup or delivery contact to communicate any problems with pickups or delays. Incorrect pickup or delivery contact details could mean pickups and deliveries are missed, and shipments are delayed.
FreightSimple asks for the email address of the pickup and delivery contact to automatically send them the documentation needed for pickup, and any key information required for delivery.
If you have requested a Delivery Appointment, it is this person that the carrier will contact to make the appointment.
